How do schools request your services?

Schools can submit a referral via our website or contact us directly. We also accept district-wide contracts and service agreements.

What is behavior consultation in a school setting?

Behavior consultation involves a behavior analyst working with educators, administrators, and support staff to assess student behavior, develop individualized supports, and build staff capacity to improve student outcomes.

How is school-based behavior consultation different from direct ABA therapy?

Unlike direct therapy, behavior consultation focuses on guiding and training school personnel. The consultant conducts assessments, develops plans, and provides ongoing support, but does not typically deliver daily one-on-one intervention.

Do you only work with students with autism or other disabilities?

No. While we frequently support students with autism, ADHD, emotional/behavioral disorders, and developmental delays, we also work with general education students who need behavior support.

How do you collaborate with school staff to support behavior change?

We prioritize a team-based approach—working closely with teachers, school psychologists, administrators, and paraprofessionals to create and implement effective, practical strategies. We can regularly attend IEPs, staffings, and problem-solving meetings to support the team.

What services do you provide to schools?

Our services include Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), staff training, classroom observations, data analysis, behavioral skills training, and IEP support.

How do you develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)?

We use data from the FBA to identify function-based strategies. Plans include proactive supports, skill-building strategies, and crisis response protocols. We also provide training and model strategies for staff.

Do you conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)?

Yes, we conduct comprehensive FBAs using interviews, direct observations, and data analysis. Our assessments are aligned with IDEA and state regulations and are appropriate for IEP teams.

How do you support teachers and staff during implementation?

We offer in-person coaching, modeling, feedback, and written guides. We prioritize practical strategies that fit within the classroom routine.

Do you offer professional development or training for staff?

Yes. We provide customized PD sessions on topics such as positive behavior supports, de-escalation, trauma-informed practices, and FBA/BIP development.

How do you ensure staff fidelity when implementing interventions?

We offer ongoing support, create simple implementation checklists, and conduct fidelity checks. We also help schools build internal capacity.

How do you measure progress and success?

We use behavior data (frequency, duration, intensity) and staff feedback to track student progress.

What happens if the student’s behavior doesn’t improve? you measure progress and success?

If progress is limited, we revisit the FBA, revise the intervention plan, and adjust our strategies accordingly. We also evaluate implementation fidelity and offer additional support.

Are your services available for individual students or entire classrooms?

Both. We work with individual students and provide classroom-level support or system-wide consultation for schools and districts.
